Fostering Equity: The Educator-Led Communities of Care

The Educator-Led Communities of Care (ELCC) addresses the core inequities of family child care ecosystems. It honors workers as educators with skills and capacities, counters our isolation and lack of support, equips us with new or additional skills, supports our growth as business people, applies our insights and experience to advocacy efforts, and helps us become leaders and advocates who can act collectively to build power. ELCC also promotes equity by improving access and opportunity for children and families.
