Child Development:
At CCPU Training Fund we are committed to assisting educators in accessing resources to enhance the quality and profitability of our family child care business. Our child development programming includes workshops and webinars led by family child care educators for our peers on topics ranging from curriculum development to Ages and Stages and more. We support providers to apply what we’ve learned in trainings to our work with children. Through our relationship-based professional development programs, we are encouraged to see ourselves as the multi-faceted professionals we are.
Small Business Support:
At CCPU Training Fund we are committed to assisting educators in accessing resources to enhance the quality and profitability of our family child care business. Our small business supports include workshops and webinars led by family child care educators for our peers on topics ranging from “Getting Ready for Taxes” to “Managing Business Finances.” We support providers to apply what we’ve learned in trainings to our business. Through our relationship-based professional development programs, we are encouraged to see ourselves as the multi-faceted professionals we are.
Educator-Led Communities of Care:
ELCC addresses the core inequities of family child care ecosystems. It honors workers as educators with skills and capacities, counters our isolation and lack of support, equips us with new or additional skills, supports our growth as business people, applies our insights and experience to advocacy efforts, and helps us become leaders and advocates who can act collectively to build power. ELCC also promotes equity by improving access and opportunity for children and families.
